Susan:You haven't been crying,Mary?
Mary:Yes , I couldn't help it .
Susan:What on earth for?
Mary:My dear ,it's not unnatural.
Susan:Well,I don't want to say anything against her now that she's dead and gone, poor thing, but Miss Freeman was the most disgusting old woman I ever met.
Mary:I was her nurse for ten years . I don't suppose one can live all that time with anyone and not be a little sorry to part with them for ever .
Susan:How you stood it ! Exacting ,domineering ,disagreeable .
Mary:Yes , I suppose she was . I never saw anyone with such a bitter tongue. At first I used to cry every night when I went to bed because of the things she said to me.
