父が苦しんでいるのに読書とは。。。

教養の場としての英文読解

臨時収入があったので思い切って買いました。

アマゾンでのレビューが高いだけあって素晴らしいです。

内容についてはアマゾンの評価を読めばわかりますしそもそも僕の言語能力では説明できません。

英文のレベルは「ポレポレ」「透視図」とかぶる英文が３つほどあるのでその２冊と同等でしょう。ただ、難しいものもあって東大史上もっとも内容が難しかったと言われる１９７４年の要約問題も載ってます。

一番気に入ったのは解説の構成。「透視図」「やっておきたい」「東京大学英語」などと同じなんです。解説のところに本文の１つの文章が載ってありその訳と単語熟語構文の解説があり、また本文の１文章が載ってあり訳と解説が載っている、という流れです。いちいちページを戻って本文に戻る必要がないんです。ここがいい。うまく説明できないので申し訳ないんですが。「透視図」が気に入っている人にはお勧めです。

2,000円とやや高めですが買ってよかったかな、と思ってます。

At the time of practical experience man exists from moment to moment, preoccupied with the task of the moment. As he re-surveys all the moments in thought, a drama emerges with a beginning, a middle and a movement toward the climax of achievement or defeat.
